Page 1 of ADVICE PLEASE!! Goodmans DVD 3600PKT DVD/5.1 Dolby Digital System

Hello,

Can anyone give my some info on the Home Cinema Kit listed above that is available from Comet at £149.99.

Firstly does anyone know if there is a region code available for it, I know on this site there is a remote hack for the Goodmans 3500 player, but not for this one?

Does anyone know if this plays DVD-R`s VCD`s etc, it says on the Comet website that its got a radio tuner in it also.

If anyone has bought one of these kits can you give me some feedback as to if you think it is any good or not.

I am looking to get a budget home cinema system for £150, so if anyone can recommend one that can play anything you throw at it that would be great!

Please can someone offer me some advice on this player, or the one from Safeways that a lot of people on this site are discussing, can you connect your tv and video to these and have them in surround sound?

Please help
