RE: Recomend me a Freeview Digital Box . .
The Pace DVTA is the only one I have direct experience of, but I can definitely recommend it. It`s very stable and glitch-free, and all of the features work, which is more than people have said about some boxes.
The only negative point is the lack of connectivity options - you get one moulded-on SCART and that`s it.

The Grundig GDT1500 here mate, SUPERB! simple to use, fast, regular software updates, 2 scarts and even a small remote extender!
£100

I`ve got one of those little Grundig boxes, a little bit smaller than a shoebox, sits nicely on top of the TV, very nice, no problmes with it.
Two scart sockets, one for the video to loop through and one to the TV, and it ouputs RGB too. Pretty good box.

Thanks guys.
Just one question.
Does the Grundig have an audio out so that I can connect my mini disc for recording the digital radio?
Heard somewhere that the new Nokia has an optical out.

Hi
If you checkout the pace website you will find there is now a new add-on for extra / easier connecting for the pace box plus there is a new version coming out with a hard drive to record the programs. [ out soon £350 ish ]

There`s no audio out at all on the Grundig box, just 2 scarts, an areial in and an aerial out.

Upon further investigation I`ve narrowed it down to 2
Nokia 221T and Thomson DTI 1000.
Any opinions?
