Hi,
Saw an advertisment for the LG DV-2000 in What Home Cinema magazine. I am new to this HC lark and this looks like a great entry into the arena.
Is it any good?
Also, can the DVD cope with VCD/SVCD?? And, does the AV amp have optical inputs as I want to connect up my XBOX.
Regards,
Nookie.

I`ve got one and its not a bad player at all, the VCR could be better i.e 6 head instead of 4 but the DVD is fine, it sounds good even in a large room too, it does play VCD without need of a hack but won`t play SVCD, you can multiregion it with the disc too from http://www.choosefirst.co.uk there is definately an optical in though for your x-box! and it does have component out which is a first for LG`s players! (if you`re TV has component in....?) price is good too.....
