Find out what sort of connections are on the tv for video in & audio in are e.g. phono, BNC?

Disable macrovision on the dvd player if it can be hacked or else you will have to purchase a "macrovision removal "gadget.

You can buy leads that have Scart connection at one end and different sorts of connections choice at the other end when you buy a universal copying kit from places like Maplins/ Tandy etc.

That shouldn`t be necessary unless you`re connecting it through a VCR.
