Apart from Argos at £4.50 for a 1.5m lead. Does anywhere that sells cheap SCART leads?

Try an electronics market store in your nearest town or a non chain electronics store. Got mine from one of these stores just as good, losers like Dixon`s will sell you a bloody gold plated one for £10 probably, who needs it? It doesn`t work any better

Depends on the quality of your Dvd player and Television. I have found out that more expensive better quality scart lead, definitely improves picture quality.

I use scart for my VCR and it is OK, but not for my DVD so not sure as there are other alternatives eg S-video and the one with 3 wires on each end that you watch on AV, whatever that`s called?
Still don`t see why a gold-plated one should work better, i`ve never seen a normal one get oxidised....

You could try LIDL`s that were selling scart leads for £1.99, not sure of quality or if the nearest store have any left ( offer was two weeks ago, BUT if you`ve got one close, it might be a good idea to pop in ? )
