confused and baffled by it all.want to buy son cheapish system for his bedroom ie player +speaker system.his telly only has areial socket so feed must go thro vcr via scart.i beleive this can be done if you can disable macrovision in the player ? players i am thinking about accoustic solutions 321 or421 with acc sol d333 speakers from argos any good ? fancy cyberhome 302 or 402 esp if u can switch off macro. any ideas anyone please help

dont know about any of the players, but if you connect it that way the picture will be pretty poor.

get a new telly and also the speakers in argos will only work if the player has a dd 5.1 decoder, the cyberhome 528 or 505!

thanks,but dvd +sound and new telly!!!!! i know videologic speakers need onboard but thought accoustic ones had a decoder with them best i check with argos. new telly would mean no sound system, quite fancied cbh402 from smiths. will going thro vcr produce that crap a picture
