Page 1 of some one help me choose a dvd please

please as im new to this ,
3 dvd`s i was looking at from asda, apex ad1100wb,
pacific 1002 and the pacific 750, mainly to watch vcd`s (mpg,avi) burned with nero, manly looking to buy the pacific 1002?
which 1 do i go for?? plus multi regional? do i need this to watch vcds`s?
please some 1 help me out here ty

I had a look at the players too and purchased the 1002. The region Hack as detailed below works although you don`t need this for the playing of VCD`s.

I have burnt over 100 VCD`s with nero and have orginals & silvers and they all work perfect in this player, including DVD-R (Similar to CDR but DVD version)
On the box & instuctions it say you can`t play all this stuff but it works!!!
ASDA agreed to change it or refund if it didn`t play what we had and they are currently also giveing a 3 YEAR warrenty on all electrical goods.

Also a few friends bought 1 at works and they say had no probs with it plays everything they threw at it lol
