Page 1 of Does the Alba 108 have zoom?

Just wondered if the alba 108 has any zoom feature as im thinking of buying this until i have more money for a better player. I only have a standard tv so i dont wanna see massive black lines that take up half of the picture!

Hi

It does have a zoom funtion but it depends on the screen shape as to what happens.If using a normal screen tv you can zoom and pan and scan but with widescreen the zoom only has 2 settings and you cant realy watch the film with any of them as they are too powerful.[ someone head fills the screen so you have to put up with the film as a widescreen.[may or may not have black lines ]
