Page 1 of Dansai 1010 fix

I bought a 1010 from Tesco last night 10/9/02

On the box is stated that it plays CDR CDRW etc but it did not - simply reporting disk error.

After performing the disk fix (noted elswhere) the macro fix and all CDR`s worked perfectly.

Many thanks to Paul and others who post to this list. I am very pleased with the Dansai and the colour is possibly better for CDR`s than my old H&B (that broke at the week end).

Have got the same problem but still waiting for the disc to arrive,wont play any copied cd/r films for me.Will the hack fix this and make it multi regional.may get back to you for a copy of the disc /tesco running out so i hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just burn it to cd-r and your laughing

im brand new to pcs and dvd ive managed to download the file from the dansai site and burnt it to disk but now wot do i do with it?
