Where can I buy one without paying £800.00 for it. Currys said that they cant get hold of them anymore.

I just got an E20 because I couldnt be bothered to wait for Panasonic to release the E30. After all, they put back the release of the E20 for 4 months ! I will get an E30 as well if it proves to be any better, but I spoke to Panasonic technical who tell me its not much different. They also stated that the suggested retail will be £649. But it was vague.
Anyway, I went the Curry`s route with no joy, plus many other e-based companies. Ended up getting one from a Midland based Panasonic dealer for £599. Another local dealer has some, T.C. Hayes (Birmingham) 0121 420 3626. Also for £599.

Get an E20!! The E30 has some of the good options removed from it. Eg. No DV connector for your camcorder on the E30 compared to the E20,
