Page 1 of SC-2000 December Batch

I`ve got one of the new players from scans december batch but can`t seem to disable the firmware. What`s the key combination? or do I have to upgrade the firmware first?

What version firmware do these players currently have?

The firmware is 180 on the december batch,the new firmware is 191,if you email nelly at scan he will send it to you so you can upgrade it yourself,this should make it macrovision free.ok,Chris

What`s the best program to use to create the upgrade cd on? should I do it as mode 1? should I finalise the cd?

Hi Could you please advise me on finding out the current firmware of my machine.

I have looked through all the menus but can find no mention of revision numbers.

To check firmware of your player press the following.

Power on - open - setup - stop - step - menu

MAIN VER is firmware version

ADV7172 is Macrovision - ends in 1 = disabled, ends in 0 = enabled
