Hello, i am looking for a cheap and cheerful DVD player for my ageing parents and am thinking of two i see in my Littlewoods catalouge.....

The Bush DVD2023 and GoodmansGDVD134

Can anyone tell me if any of theses players can be made Multiregion, play VCDs and Mp3s.

Thanks!

The MICO from larger Sainsburys. £89-00. It does everything with NO lip Sink problems on SVCDs & VCDs. Partly Panasonic, higher quality than the price states.Highly recommended by `What TV & Video` April I think. Component,Composite, Scart & S-video connections. Will knock spots off the Bush & Goodmans.

Not sure about the Bush DVD2023 being able to play VCD`s, see seperate article about switching player off/on, opening drawer, and entering codes etc. Player should play CDR`s and MP3`s with no problems. Try Grattans catolouge, they are running a special offer on this DVD, £49.99 with your first order (Very cheap hand towells in our case). All in all, we are very pleased with this player considering it`s modest price
