I hacked the mutli region on this LG model and then tried hacking the VCD and this is when i think hacking screwed up my dvd player.Now I have audio but no TV output just a black screen. On searching the web I came across an old LG forum which suggests the TV output may have reverted back to its default setting. A fix was given but the steps were done `blind` but this didn`t work for me. Has anyone experienced this on the LG DVD 4950 or any other LG model ?? Help required like yesterday !!

IV`E DONE THE SAME WITH MY LG 4210,THINK YOU NEED THE ORIGINAL SETTINGS,IV`E HAD NO LUCK GETTING THEM MYSELF,BUT IF YOU GET ANY HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW,THANKS.

Hi Mate had the same problem as you on my LG 4210, the screen went blank after entering the VCD hack, there is only audio any ideas on how to fix it, how did you sort yours out cheers Shaun.

Hi Mate, saw on this site that you had the same problem as I have now, after entering the VCD hack my screen is blank I only have audio, did you manage to sort your problem out, if you did please let me know how cheers for now mate Shaun UK.

hi big problem i put the vcd hack into my lg 4710 (blank screen) it was only one month old, i took it back to currys they could not fix it they sent it back to lg they had no idea what was wrong with it they could not fix it. they had to give me a new one i told them i did not know what happened to it, sorry to be the bearer of bad news barry
