Page 1 of Anyone found a way to disable the Macro on a Dansai 1010?

I have got in to the menu where you select the region you want but there is no sign of a Maco vision Disabler.....Anyone got any idea`s???

It matters not what DVD region hack you used, an example is the following:

1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. 2. Press the Stop button on the front of your player
3. 3. Press the Forward button on the front of your player
4. 4. Press the Previous button on the front of your player
5. 5. Press the Next button on the front of your player
6. 6. You will now be in a hidden menu where you can change the region to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or Bypass for multi-region playback

There IS NO Macrovision hack for this player.....that is why it is cheaper and nastier than the better one £99 in tesco. It however will play just about everything under the sin, but you cannot disable macrovision on this one. If however you bought one when they first came out Macrovision was aready disabled as standard, unfortunately most of us were not so lucky.
