pacific 750 pal/pal60

hi,i have put the region hack in ....no problem ,but there doesn`t seem to be a pal60 mode on the pacific 750 model just auto,pal & ntsc is there anyway to enable this?

in a word no.

but it has to be said that pal 50 is preferable as this is true pal however if you are having problems with a jerky frame rate switch to ntsc (i know this cos i had one and the pal conversion was very poor) unfortunatly this means you can`t back up your dvd`s but for that purpose pal 60 would be equaly usless as it uses the same carrier for the colour and your vcr can`t decode it

Thanks for your reply chris...........the pacific dvd 750 is one i bought for my dad he`s chuffed with it but since i put the region hack in the colour seems to have gone a bit green (its still watchable) i just wondered if it was something to do with this pal 60 thing ...as u will prob know i dont know very much about dvd players thanks anyway .

sounds like a dodgy scart lead if changing this disne work try the composite if problem persist try a different tv if still bad change it at asda

I dont think its the tv has he has only just bought it before xmas , but i will try another scart to c if thats the problem thanks for your reply chris much appreciated . theres no probs apart from the colour .
