Does anyone know the hack for turning off the macrovision on the Asda Pacific 1000 DVD Player? Thanks in advance.

the hack for the dvd 750 model is open tray,press 4561 then select macrovision disable using the enter button on your remote.its worth a try.

I think it is replaced by the 750. But at our local Asda tonight both are marked as out of stock, display models there, but I think Asda might have a policy not to sell off the display.

Anybody know a hack to make the Pacific 1000 multi regional? I don`t know a great deal about hacks, but have been told that there might be a handset hack for it.

Clueless! put "pacific 1000" in the seach box and click your return button on your keyboard and it`s all there! Have fun Biteman!

I`ve tried the handset hack supplied in this forum for the Pacific 1000 (open, 8421, ennter) but nothing seems to be happening. Am I doing something wrong? I turned the machine on, opened the tray, pressed 8,4,2,1 and enter.....but the display didn`t change. It just showed `open` as it would normally do. Can you offer any more help?
