tried hack as suggested by DVD reviewer but when I press Play and Stop at the same time nothing happens!! What does " Always perform a Cold Start before appling the hack" mean? Replies with explanation gratefully received.

You need to hold down Play and Stop *on the player itself*, not on the remote control. Hold Play and Stop down for at least 5 seconds and the language select screen should appear. Select 1 for English and you`re done - that`s your cold start.

All a cold start does is reset your player to factory default settings. It`s a good idea to do this before you enter the hack, although not strictly necessary.

have you been able to get this hack to work, i understand the cold start but as for entering the numbers, well that is when hack fails, help required please
