DM Tech DVD, Is there a multi-region hack for this player?

Purchased from local Budgen`s store for only £89 just before xmas. Now with in-laws but would like to buy region 1 disks etc....Thanks..... P.S. I did notice from previous feeds that someone was suggesting the Schneider DVD-855 hack would work but before I try it can anyone else ok this?

my mate has tried it (i gave him the info on the schneider which i got from this forum) and he says it works a treat.
