CAN ANY ONE HELP ME .I NEED THE MULTI REGION CODE OR HACK FOR THE HT-DV90 MANY THANKS GRIBO

There is a company called Futuretronics on the net, they claim to be writing software to hack the Aiwa HT-DV90. Should cost £60-£80.

The Aiwa remote hacks dont work on this model.

I have read somewhere on the net that you can do the following:

Turn on the player
Insert any disk
Open the disk tray and take out the disk
Close the tray
Immediately press [STOP] and wait a few seconds
Press 8,7,2,0 and then >> on the remote

8,7,2,1 for region 1 etc

Can someone try it because I only have region 2 disks at the mo. Let me know how you get on!!

I Tried futuretronics, but they didn`t respond to my e-mail.

Anyone got any other info on this? There seem to be a fair amount of people with this system - someone must know something!!!!

Try this: Its translated from a french hack so its worded a bit strange.

connect the socket-outlet *
press on button ` POWER` to light the DVD * open drawer DVD/CD * press on button ` DVD/CD` of the remote control *

support on the remote control on: C, 2, 5, 8, 0, C * ` TESTMO E` should twice be displayed * Appuyer on the arrow to

the top (UP) of remote control * ` 14WW " is displayed (WW is the number displayed with the screen) * Taper " 00-06 "

on the remote control 00 = All 01 = North America 02 = Japon/Europe 03 = Asia 04 = South America 05 = Russia 06 = China

* " 14XX " appears on the screen (XX are the number displayed with the screen after the procedure above) * Appuyer on

button ` ENTER` of the remote control * Appuyer once on to the top (UP) of remote control * " 12ZZ " is displayed *

Region hack:

1) Turn on player
2) Insert any disc
3) Open lid , take out disc and close lid
4) Immediately press [Stop], wait few seconds
5) Press 8,7,2,0 and then >> on remote
6) The player should be region free now!

Also, use:
8,7,2,0,1 to set to region 1
8,7,2,0,2 to set to region 2
etc...
This is needed to watch RCE discs
