Hack needed for this new Asda portable DVD player to make it region free

I have an Asda DVD7015UK portable dvd player, so not sure if this will also work for LEDVD0701SP.

The same hack for Logik LOGPD1008:

Ensure no dvd disc is inside player.
Press `Setup`.
Press `Right` key 3 times onto the `Preference Page`.
Press `9653`.
Press `Down / Up` keys to select Region 0.
Press `Enter`.
Press `Setup` to exit.

It also worked for me for a 7" Asda portable DVD (also labelled as a Curtis) and another Curtis model, dual 7" screen portable DVD player ref DVD8727uk, so many thanks.

this does not work for the LEDVD0701SP and am desperate to watch my dead like me dvds :(

Alas it does not work for the PTDVD7 from Asda.
