This works for the pacific 1000, power on, open dvd tray and press 8421 on the remote. region 2 will appear on screen. press enter to change regions 1 to 6. pressing enter till 9. this will make it muti region. note: i also found on this model it was necessary to change the tv system by the dvd set-up from Pal to Pal 60, otherwise some regions run a bit slow, done this to my dvd and it works perfect.ftmftm
