Page 1 of HELP - Samsung DVD Recorder SR150M

Can anyone help me i am looking for a hack for the above player.

Hi there,

Don`t know if you`ve found a hack yet but I tried this and it worked fine with my Samsung DVD-SR150M UK version. It has a DVB tuner built in but no HDMI socket and is all black in colour.

With no disk loaded:-

Press the Menu button on the remote control

Press the 5 button on the remote control

Press the 7 button on the remote control

Press the 5 button on the remote control

Press the 3 button on the remote control

Press the 8 button on the remote control


Current region now displayed briefly in a grey square on the screen

Press 1 for Region 1, Press 2 for region 2 etc..

Or Press 9 for multi region playback

Press open/close button on remote
(Draw will open just press open/close again to close)

Hack Complete.
