HI Peeps Have found a alternative way to change the region code and turn off the macrovision. 1. With the power on and the tray empty,Press 7, 6, then select on your remote. 2. This takes you into the factory settings list,using the arrow keys scroll down to the region code,Press enter twice,then enter the code you want. 3.Then scroll down to the bottom where it says `next page`,Press enter twice ,scroll down to the macrovision setting(on shows as No 1)press enter twice til 0 is shown and the macrovision is disabled. 4.Press set up to exit factory settings , enter disc and away you go.
NB:- The macrovision will reset it`s self after the power to the unit has been turned off,but the region code remains the same until you change it again.
