Mike, did you read the answer to my question regarding the hack for this machine? You say that you read it on the Multi Region Hacks - I had looked on this site and in particular the Multi Region Hacks Section before asking that question. What is the Macrovision and should I know about it before giving this machine to my daughter Hope you get an answer to your question on Macrovision.

DISABLING MACROVISIONS ENABLES YOU TO MAKE COPYS OF DVDS TO NORMAL VIDEO RECORDER TAPES. USING A VIDEO RECORDER, HOPE THIS ANSWERS YOUR QUERY.
