Hi Hardware looks like older 370 but solusion for multiregion doesn`t work. Firmware checking goes the same way in 370 and 480 but I cannot find in Internet procedure for multiregionalisation this machine. PS I compared this Aiwa and Pioneer 444: pioneer doesn`t read many cd-R`s with .mp3 files, Aiwa reads everything.

Hi Guys, There is no remote region hack for the xd dv480, it is a piece of software which needs to be put on a disk. I have the Aiwa xd dv480 which plays MP3s and CD-RWs and I have used this software with suscess. It`s the only way you can upgrade you DVD Player. If anyone wants it e-mail me and i`ll be glad to give it out as I don`t think your allowed to put software on this site or a download address. Hi, Ive found this on a french site, I already bought mine Regionfree from Richer sounds. The file according to my PC is a Nero file and will need to be burned to a disk. http://www.ipservices.ch/users/wwwcome/zone.html there is a link from the above to the file. Hope that helps
