Page 1 of Samsung DVD 511, can macro be disabled at all???

so the region hack for this model doesn`t disable macro,yes?
well is there any way of disabling macro at all?

Not without an external box, no.

Techtronics offered supposedly Macro-disabled models, but I believe it transpired that they simply fitted a Macro remover board internally!

So yeah, just get yourself a Macro remover box, that`s the only way.

I just visited techtronics and the only thing i could find was a mod upgrade for £99 this enabled vcr mode(a polite way of saying disable macrovision???) is this the macrobox you mean?

anyone else feel like offering an opinion/advice, all welcome!
