Hi,
I`m thinking of buying the LG DR275 DVD recorder but need to find a region hack first. Does anyone know of one? I have also seen a firmware upgrade for the DR175 on ebay which will make it multiregion, would this also work on the DR275?

Just bought one of these in Singapore (BTW, lovely weather we`re having, 32C, sunshine, low tax, and yes, they do cane the odd person, makes a very nice society!) and supposedly it was already region free.
When I tried it at home, nadda.
So was given this to try, and it worked.
1. Press set-up on the remote 2. Navigate to the padlock icon 3. Press `0` seven times
A little congratulations message came up and now am watching anything and everything!
Not sure if it will work with UK models, but worth a go.
