Page 1 of prove me wrong hitachi 315e there is no hack around

i need a hack for the hitachi dv-p315e3 i have tryed the 305 505 515and the samsung m 105 to no avail,its driving me mad please help anyone

it may be the same problem as with the M105 where some versions of firmware are hackable by the remote and others are not .. other options are chipping or fitting hackable firmware , performing the hack and then putting the original firmware back in although I`m not sure how the hitachi would respond if fitted with hackable M105 firmware

The Hitachi DVP315e is a Samsung M105, the Hitachi machines were badged under licence from samsung, it is only cosmetic differences.

Actually, the Hitachi players seem to be a bit of a hotch-potch. The 305, 315 and 515 are Samsungs, but the 205 and 505 aren`t :-)

I`m new to this hacking game. If I try the hack for my DVD player and it doesn`t work does will it affect the ability to play region 2 DVD`s?
