Danial Sorry mate, there is no remote hack for any of the pioneer range of dvd players. They all have to be chipped to be multi-region.........:0)

ive got a pioneer DV 505 u can try this hack if u want.
Press the following buttons on your remote 1: open/close ( tray needs to be open) 2: menu 3: 1 4: display 5: condition 6: 1 for region 1 2 for region 2 and so on 7: enter put disk in and close tray and play. hope it works.

Try this region hack i found on the web: Pioneer DV-343 Use The Following Instructions To Make Your DVD Player Region Free!
1) Turn on your DVD player without a disc in the drive. 2) Press setup on the remote control 3) Highlight General in green by pressing the right button to move over it 4) Press down once [this will bring up the setup section, make sure basic mode is selected and not expert] 5) Press display button once 6) It will now show the setting of your DVD player, use the buttons 1 - 6 to select the region you want. 7) Press conditional memory once to save your setting
