Page 1 of TEVION DVD PLAYER TDVDX3801

Hi just purchased this player today from ALDI £29.99 a bargain plays MP3,MP4,DIVX ,JPEGS ,VCD everything ive chucked at it, has played apart from discs that are not region 2.Its not multiregion ! :(
Anybody got any ideas ,when it starts up it says AKURA on loading screen not TEVION ,but none of the listed AKURA hacks or tevion hacks work ?
I could of course be doing it wrong?

Yeah I got one of these today myself. In the manual it lists the Akura website as where to go for firmware updates. I`ve sent an email to them with this request and details of any firmware updates. Hopefully someone will reply. But if not guess could also try the support phone number listed :)

I bought one of these players from Aldi today in the Old Kent Road. Took it home and without any hacking on my part it played Region 1, Region 2 and Region 4 discs. I don`t have any Region 3 discs, but I guess it would handle them as well! Brilliant picture, too.
