Page 1 of Samsung HT-XQ100 ???

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make the HT-XQ100 muli-region?

Any help would be welcome.

Try this one it is a common HT- Q series Hack

1. Remove Disc from Tray.
2. Switch Off Player
3. Wait 30 Seconds, Then Reconnect Mains.
4. Turn On player with Remote Control. Wait for player to Finish Loading and Display `No Disc`.
5. Press Enter on Remote Control. (There will be No On-Screen Response.)
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be No On-screen Response.)
7. Press Enter on the Remote Control. Player will Automatically Turn Off.
8. Turn Player On.
9. Open Tray
10.Close tray.
11.Turn Player Off then On Again.
12.Player is Now Region Free.

Can`t make it work here. Wondering if there`s something with the "open/close tray"-part. What did you exactly do - no way to directly opening that tray...

Hi

I tried this, worked fine. But when i turned my samsung ht-xq100 off, and on the next day the system dident work. I tried to eject the disc innside, that diden`t work either. Sow what do you think ? Have i damaged the firmware ? Is there anything i could do, or must i send it to Samsung.
