I have an ORITRON 100 it is region free but wont play VCD .I have tryed the remote hack 5/1/index/open but no joy.The vcd plays no probs in my pc.£10 reward by post for the person who tells me how to play VCD.

Firstly, is it a CD-R? The Oritron 100 does *not* work with CD-R media, full stop - if you can burn discs yourself, you may have more luck with CD-RWs. The player will work perfectly with real (pressed) VCDs, if you do the hack to enable VCD.
