I need help to get codes for this LITE ON LVW-5005 DVD Recorder!

Hi! I have this new dvd region 2, but i can`t play it on my regular dvd , so i was wondering if maybe someone knew the codes for this dvd recorder that i also have, so that it maybe can play the dvd i`m dying to see.

1. Enter Set-Up Screen by pressing Setup on the Remote Control. 2. Move cursor to `Exit` (but do NOT select it) 3. Using Remote Control: key 2,9,6,0 4. On Pop-Up menu select `Region Free` 5. Hit Setup again to close Setup menu.
Congratulations! Your player is Region Free.
It may be worth having a look at this page also ..there is some Firmware update information and Macrovision hack information on there as well.
Can you confirm on here that the hack(s) work ...or not

Switch on player without disc in tray / Press setup / Highlight exit then press 2,9,6,0 / Press right and press enter on "region 2" / Press right arrow again and select "0" for region free / Exit menu
