Page 1 of dvd hack for PANASONIC DMR-ES30VEB

I have a PANASONIC DMR-ES30VEB DVD/VIDEO RECORDER.Does anybody out there know how to convert this to multi-region.Any help would be most appreciated.

You should be asking in the Region Hacks Forum. But before you do, I suggest you do a little searching first.

Try this one

Turn the player on (without a disc inserted)
Press and hold SHIFT
Press SETUP
Release SHIFT
Press ENTER 2 x
Go to "Other"
Enter RC (4-digit, e.g.0001)
Press ENTER
Press RETURN 2 x
Turn the player off

Although the Normal Rule is Panasonic Players / Recorders Cannot be hacked using the Handset supplied with the Player / Recorders...in other words there are usually no Free options so I am not convinced it will work ...but try it just in case as it is listed for your model.

You will Have to use the services of a chipping company to assist you....and they cost

I have the same problem as FrankF.
Possibly I`m too dim but can`t process this hack as no SHIFT key on handset.
Help please!

You are NOT dumb! :)

As I said in my last post...quite cleary... the Normal rules are there are No free Handset Hacks for Most Panasonic players.

I only posted the Hack as it was listed elsewhere ...but I did state I was not convinced that it was a valid hack although it was always worth a try....it is obvious from your post it is Bo**ocks :)

I fear your player needs a service remote to enable region free and RCE compatiblility.......but it will cost!!... :(

You will probably need the services a "chipping company" that will be able to help you get that service remote .

A Google search will help you locate them ...but I expect the cost will be similar , no matter which one you choose ...if any.

Hope this helps you make your mind up as to your next course of action :)
