Page 1 of Hack needed for a Sanyo 7201 !! urgent

I need a hack for a Sanyo 7201- I have one for a Sanyo 1500 is there any chance that will work ?

I got the files for the 1500 and tried them on my 7201 and it just came up with a list of the disk contents rather than doing any of the gubbins it was supposed to do. I am going to try writing the disk in another format and see if that works but I don`t think it will.

Last year I generously provided the DVD-1500 hack only to be pulled to pieces by various un-grateful persons. Therefore I have only distibuted this years hacks to the folowing sources.

PS Poogirl if you have a DVD-1500 (18 months old max) why are you looking for a new player and if so why are you not upgrading. Perhaps for a DVP505/DVP515, RV31, Rv41 etc. OK The 7201 plays MP3 but so does the DVP505 but without the fancy graphics. Just Curious

has anyone confirmed if there is a hack for this player yet or not ? would be most grateful for any feedback.

The player requires to be re-programmed and unlike last years software hack (which I distributed), if you make the slightest mistake you will fry your firmware; therfore I have only entrusted the upgrade to established DVD upgraders.

so are you saying that the sanyo 7201 needs to be chipped? or are you saying that it will be a firmware upgrade via software?
