Is there a firmware upgrade for the philips 710 that enables multiregion????

Hi
I want to make a friends philips 710 multiregion capable and have found out how to do it from the players remote and the 1 for all remote but i wondered if there is a fw upgrade to do this????
Also i have been told that the old 710`s do not lock up after the code has been entered 25 times on the players remote - where can i find out which players lock and dont lock?

ALL Philips players lock after 25x using the original philips remote
THERE IS NO FIRMWARE THAT ENABLES MULTI-REGION OR REMOVES MACROVISION

this unlocks all --enter play 274.......128156--------222222005255-----or 128156----005255--play
this turns player back to default---if you are getting close to 25x
play159----004001--000140----play(shuold turn red) and back to philips

DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE
they information is incorrect..there is no reset code for philips players...in fact the codes above will alter system settings on your player and will disable scart output and/or s-video output as well as changing the background to either a Lowe or Grundig player....
