Hi Folks,
My DVD is a philips 711, I`ve already used the RC6 hack to unlock it..worked perfectly first time!..I used the code 222 222 005 255,this makes it region free... but does anyone know any other codes that will set it region specific ..ie to Region 1, just in case they come up with a better RCE...but with the RC6 method using the AllforOne remote, not the philps code that locks after 25 times....

Sorry to intrude but I could do with some help. I bought the 711 on Sunday and the One for All today. I do not have any region 1 discs to check the hack.
As the 711 only has an 11 digit display how do you enter the last 5? I just pressed 5 twice then the play button as per instructions turned off at the mains for 10 secs than on again.
Has this done the job???
Also if you have the codes that Haggis sent you I would appreciate a copy too
