Well what ever the costs and profits are it works and it only took 10mins to install, start to finish.
I am a happy customer.

Very glad to hear it .... I thought myself when I saw £1 chips being sold for 20,30 or even £40 that there was gold in them there mods but alas it is only fools gold :) there are new players coming out all the time and to keep up is a real nightmare ..... it is however very interesting.....

with the mod chip installed were you able to turn off the macrovision copyguard and region code?

I have not tried to see if macro is disabled yet, as far as I know the chip is only a regional hack.
What I do know is that with the chip installed everything is automatic (the disc justs plays). I have swapped back and forth between R1&R2 with no problems.
It is not hard to install if you have a steady hand and a fine tipped iron.
Only took me 10mins.
