Remote "mod kit"? £400? Isn`t it easier (and cheaper) to buy an additional R1 player if you like Sony that much? (It is for me :p).

I`m so sorry Grunt Boy but This is the solution for Sony DVD Player . I didn`t say the hack is with the original remote like the samsung, i did say there`s a remote to hack all sony dvd player !!!!!
I think we can hack with the one for all again but i want to find the macro code to hack them.
You should read better what i say in my first post !!!

Whoa, I said I wasn`t getting on your case, read my post please. I merely pointed out the obvious ommisions in yours. Thanks but on re-reading your post it merely states "remote" hack. To me, a remote hack is one that utilises the remote that comes with the player to alter the region code of the machine (that is, incidentally, free, i.e. not 400 hundred smackers).
This is clearly not a remote hack, since you have to buy a different remote (and an expensive one at that).
As much as I and many others would like a Sony remote hack, it ain`t going to happen, the only choices are:
1. Get an RCE mod chip. 2. Get a naff mod chip and buy that huge number of RCE disks on R2. 3. Buy a R1 player for far, far less than £400. 2 DVD players I hear you say. Yep.

Sorry, in fact this is a remote hack but if you decided to buy this remote this isn`t to hack 1 DVD player !
