Has anyone any information on region hacks for these players.

Have a go at using the search facility - there is a hack for S510 on here somewhere that I stuck on, but it involves buying the One For All 6

I read the other day you used to be a trading standards officer. So at a guess you would know goods returned for refund can not be resold as new. I would all so guess that if you had purchased a DVD player from my shop, got it home and found it was a rebox you would not be happy and would be on the phone having a go.

Us high street retailers work on tight enough margins as it is. Please dont make it any harder than it all ready is.

Hi clayts

You are quite right about the model S510. There is definately something in what you say, as I now have been told that it is very simple with a dealers` service remote control unit. I will keep searching for the exact details and keep everyone here posted.
