Folk`s,
Couple of Questions regarding PS2 as I`m relocating to Ireland soon and would consider purchasing a PS2 if recommended, As in US cheaper.

1.Will a US PS2 work in Europe from a Pal / NTSC standpoint (Ignoring power , As transformer can be used.)

2.Can someone suggest a company or shop that can fit a multi region chip in the Dublin area of Ireland.

3.Can you give me a URL for DVD`s and PS1 games that will not work on the PS2.

4.is it better just to buy a European machine and get chipped in Dublin(Where)

can`t answer all your questions stephen but as for chipping the ps2 for multi region you may not have to as datel are releasing a memory card called dvd region x at the end of the month that allows you to play different region discs on your machine.as for it working on us version i don`t know.its £19.99 check it out on their website www.d3world.com.

I have ordered a DVD Region X from the Web but I was under the impression this was for DVD`s only.

So what do i need to do to allow me to play US games on my European system.
