Page 1 of Wharfedale 750 PAL/NTSC switching problem

Has anyone tried to set the player up so that it outputs a signal equivalent to the DVD source? ie. Most R1 disks (if not all) are NTSC and I`d like to output from the player as NTSC (my TV auto switches). When the source is PAL I`d like to output a PAL signal. The manual says that this can be set up using the TV System button on the remote but it doesn`t seem to do anything. Anyone know if I`m doing something wrong or if the player doesn`t do what it says?

WHEN YOU PLAY A DISC, KEEP PRESSING YOUR STOP BUTTON UNTILL YOU GET THE DVD SIGN ON YOUR TV.NOW PRESS THE TV SYSTEM BUTTON AND IT WILL SWITCH OVER FINE.IT WILL SAY IN THE CORNER WHAT SIGNAL IS BEING OUTPUTTED..HOPE THIS HELPS, I HAD TROUBLE YHE FIRST TIME AS WELL :)
