I HAVE AN REC 3000 DVD I WANT TO CHIP IT MYSELF BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SOLDER IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN DO THIS

No! Practice first; buy a soldering iron, find some old PCB`s (printed circuit boards) and in time you will be able to do it without trashing your DVD. Or better still get somebody to do it for you.

My advice is to let the chipping co do it for you. I CAN solder and I still made a right pigs ear and had to send it in for the chipping co to finish off !!
