Hi folks, anyone yet got a hack for the samsung dvdr100 (pana dmre55 with firewire ) as i plan to get one asap

Great machine, but I cannot find a MR hack anywhere. I have tried the other Samsung hacks shown on this site but to no avail. I cannot believe this is the only Samsung machine that cannot be hacked.

Great machine and excellent value for money, only £159 from Tesco`s. It has everything you could want, except for a m/r hack.....I have seached everywhere and tried the other Samsung m/r hacks on this site but to no avail. I cannot believe this is the only Samsung machine that cannot be hacked.

Theres supposed to be a disc for this model comeing - I`m waiting for my Samsung rep to provide it but no news as of yet - also applies to the HDD version. As soon as I get more news will let you know.

just bought a Samsung DVDR100E, looking for a multi region hack, seems very rare. Anyone know of one ?

Folks

Try this

1. With No Disc Loaded, Press 0 ( Zero) Five Times;
2 .Press Repeat ; (NOT the Repeat A-B Button)
3. Press 3,8,7,6,7
4. Current Region Code (2) Appears in the top left-hand side of screen;
5. Press 9 (which will change that 1 to a 9)...Or 1 ~ 6 For Region Specific
6. Press Open followed by Close

Machine is Now Multi-Region ( 9 )....Or Region Specific ( 1 ~ 6 )

N.B The above Hack is for a Region 2 Player ...if your Player is from a different Region then you need to substitute the Numbers in Line 3 for the numbers Below

Region Codes:

RC 1: 2, 9, 3, 3, 4
RC 2: 3, 8, 7, 6, 7 (or 5, 7, 5, 3, 8 )
RC 3: 5, 6, 7, 3, 2
RC 4: 7, 6, 8, 8, 4
RC 5: 5, 3, 8, 1, 4
RC 6: 2, 4, 4, 6, 2
