Need a hack for Pioneer DVR 420H and also can anyone please tell me if i can copy from disc to hard drive as it will not allow this feature and am woundering if faulty :/

There is a hack available on disc - the manufacturers contacted me after I posted here so they may have already contacted you. If not try a website which has the words dvd +chips run together as its title & add.co.uk - despite rules saying one can post links if not advertising (and I`m not, just glad I managed to find something that worked), I can`t post an actual link. I THINK you are supposed to be able to copy from disc to hard drive but possibly only discs you have recorded. I think there are software codes on commercially produced discs to prevent piracy but if you are having problems copying a disc you have made, better recheck the manual.
