Page 1 of Help - MultiRegion hack for Goodmans GDVD67W3LCDK

Just bought the Goodmans GDVD67W3LCDK portable player from Argos - £150 seems maybe two versions of the 67 series as tried the hack on the one listed on this site and it doesn`t work.

Does anyone know if this model is possible to hack

hi there,i bought my portable player from argos as well.here is what i did to get hacks.i say hacks because there are 3 different things you can do with this player.
goto setup screen.push next/previus/next/previus.you should see 2 at top right.now change this by pushing the fast forward or fast rewind till 255 shows which is all region code.now here is something else i found by pushing buttons.if you push the stop button you will get 3000 or 3001,(not sure now what was first as ive messed about with them.but it dont seem to do anything that is noticable to me,but must do somethin.push the stop button again and you wil get 5000,5001.this i know works as im using it just now.it changes the player so that you can play vcd`s.i think 5000 let you play the vcd and 5001 is normal.hope this is understandable to you.let me know how you get on and if you find out what the 3000,3001 does.

This my work

Multi-Region: Goodmans
· Put into DVD screen mode
· Press the DVD Setup key and have this set on-screen
· Use remote to key in 1, 3, 6, 9 then immediately press the Left navigate arrow 3 times, followed by the Right key once. (this takes some practice, so don`t stand too close to the TV)
· Now you will see a new option on-screen named VERSION
· Enter into Version and select region code as required (which means the code free option)

I bought one also, I do not know if you are sorted yet but this one works 100% on mine.

Press "SETUP" on Player
Pess "NEXT" on Player
Press "PREVIOUS" on Player
Pess "NEXT" on Player
Press "PREVIOUS" on Player

Then pres the LEFT Then RIGHT Then LEFT on the Play/Pause/Stop control

You will then see a number (2) in the top left corner change to what region then press setup to exit.

This works 100% on my one. Hope it works for you.
