Is there a hack to make this multi-region? I know this has been asked before, but remains unanswered to date.

I am looking for a hack for the D2000 and it looks very similar to cyberhome ch-dvd300 on a US website. But not an expert - can others advise ?

I just bought the £24.99 bargain as well..........

1. empty dvd tray

2. press `menu` then `1` then `9` and up pops the multi region menu

easy peasy

its the same as a cyberhome ch dvd 300 (apparently)

Tried it and it didn`t work.

All that happens is a symbol in the top left hand corner appears.

Am i doing something wrong?

On the D2000 you need to press menu and then 1 and then 9 before the region menu is displayed....I kept pressing menu and getting nothing then realised you needed 1 and 9 to get into the system. Once into the region code field i pressed Enter to get 0....to confirm I pressed return.

Im sure it does help if I had a D2000 but the original request was for a D1000

Thanks anyway, maybe it would be easier to get a D2000 now that there is a hack for it.

Cuban, does the D1000 look similar to any cyberhome models ?

Yes the d1000 looks does look like te cyberhome models 300 & 320, but it has 3 less buttons on the front panel. Any ideas???
