I have just tried out the code for this DVD and it does work 1. Use the remote to switch the DVD to standby 2. then use it again to power on. 3. open the drive tray 4. use the remote to type in the code 8-9-2-6 then 1 for region 1 2. for region 2 3 for region 3, etc 7 for MP3 and 8 for video 5. place DVD -in drive and close the drive and bingo
