Page 1 of Goodmans GDVD124 Problems

I am having difficulty converting my Region 2 Goodmans DVD124 system to multi-region (specifically to play Region 1).

I have found a set on instructions on this site (http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/full/Goodmans124.asp), however the hidden menu does not appear.

The hack is almost correct.
Press 7 then 4 then the `enter` button, the menu will then appear.
I don`t know if there are a finite number of changes you can make, nor if the region 13 for region free works with latest RCE disks.

thanks for sorting out that miss understanding i had the same problem , re- pushing 7 and 4 and nothing happening . tried your way and it worked for me . set it on 13 i have not tried it with any dvd`s yet as i just got it but i will be borrowing some dvd`s soon to find out for sure

i have tried this hack but now on region 2 it keeps saying wrong disl format
Any ideas
