Page 1 of CyberHome AD-M 212/512 Hacking Problems

I`ve bought one of these machines from WH Smith and have tried to unlock the region code without success.
When I go to the secret menu, there is no option heading for Region Code or Macrovision.
The firmware is version A009.9-0112.
Do I need to get another version of the firmware? If so, which one?

had the same prob` ,you need version 8 which i got at www.ephog.de/dvd/firmware.htm this tells you how to do it. ive been using mine for a about 5 weeks and have had no prob`s with region 1 or 2

I downgraded to version 8 firmware - no problems.
